Our history
More than 50 years ago, Hans-Jürgen Schrader founded today's Wentus GmbH in Höxter as a gardener. Over the past five decades, we have developed into a successful European manufacturer of flexible packaging films.
Our long-standing, committed and qualified employees have been ensuring above-average quality, customer orientation and innovative strength in the long term.

Environmental protection & sustainability
Long before the term sustainability was coined, Wentus established itself as an environmentally conscious company.
As one of the first producers, we developed compostable films and used them for e.g. waste bags. Today we develop films that ensure a particularly long shelf life for food products and thus reduce food waste.
